About us
Equatixx was founded by Simon O’Donnell, a third-year medical student with a passion for maths and teaching.
Simon worked as a tutor for ClutchMaths, helping over 50 students achieve their individual goals for the Leaving Certificate.
After ClutchMaths closed in 2025, he remained passionate about supporting students in their academic journey, which led him to launch a new business to achieve just that.
How do we operate ?
All of our classes are held online via Zoom. Students are not required to have their cameras on and are encouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson. If a student doesn’t feel comfortable speaking out loud, they can send a private message to the instructor, who will respond directly.

Leaving Cert
Mon-Thur : 6:30 – 7:30pm
Junior Cert
Mon-Thur : 5 – 6pm
Pricing
It’s just one payment of €149 per month. We don’t offer installments. We can work around your pay day, just message our team to organise a specific date.
*Students who receive grinds will get comprehensive notes covering every type of question that has appeared on the Leaving Certificate exams along with early access to our courses*
